Beauty Spot Designs Supports THE SAVE OUR STRIPES CAMPAIGN
The Campaign to help save the distinctive red and white stripes on Beachy Head Lighthouse was launched on Friday 14th October 2011. The target is to raise £45,000 to pay for the specialised task of repainting the lighthouse in its traditional colours. WEALD CRAFTS SHOWS For the second year running Beauty Spot Designs artist, Margaret Turton is a participating member of Weald Crafts.Weald Crafts is a non-profit making organisation whose main objective is to promote both functional and decorative arts and crafts in Sussex. 'Our aim is to provide suitable venues for the sale of members work and encourage the development of traditional skills within the county. It is our intention to highlight the wealth of skills available locally and in doing so, provide the opportunity for members of the public to have access to a wide range of quality products at a reasonable cost.'
